A Favorite of The Locals, Jeremy's Talents Are Much Appreciated.

With numerous types of barley malt, other grains such as wheat, rye, and oats, dozens of hop varieties, many different yeast strains, and various levels of water mineral content the process of brewing GOOD beer is a complicated one.

ABOUT JEREMY - GRB HEAD BREWMASTER

I became interested in brewing while in college studying for my Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering at San Diego State University. After graduation, I found that work in that industry had become scarce, and I was considering other career options.

It was at this time when I came across an article in a beer publication about the Master Brewers Program in Brewing Science and Brewery Engineering at the University of California at Davis. I thought that I should investigate this further, and so I applied, was accepted, and completed the course in 1995. My first brewing job was a brewpub start-up in Mammoth Lakes, CA. After 2 years there, I came out to Colorado to work with the start-up of the Gore Range Brewery and have remained here for 15 years.

For nearly 2 decades Jeremy has personally overseen the brewing of all things "Gore Range Brewery". From the ever popular Fly Fisher Red Ale, to the highly sought after Powder Day Pale Ale, Jeremy's creations over the years continues to put smiles on the faces of our patrons day in and day out.
